18.75” x 23.5”Archival Print, Framed, Edition of 10
Drawn on-location, from my seat, at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles during the Playboy Jazz Festival. After the show, heading out to the parking lot, I literally ran into blues legend B.B. King. He was thrilled to sign it for me.
Brooke Shields, December 2014
35” x 20” Archival Prints, Framed, Edition of 10
One of the most popular pieces on display at the premier of Cirkus Diurnus, and one of my personal favorites, this work is actually comprised of two separate pieces that are roughly twenty-one years apart. The original watercolor portrait was completed in December 2014, while the four autographs from Brooke were done in my sketchbook during a photoshoot with her back in April 1993.
Leon Redbone, February 2005
